* Great spot in midtown that’s not far from all the main iconic locations - everything is walkable if you want to do that. We even walked a few blocks to Penn station with our luggage to get the train to Newark - it was really easy. * Well appointed bedrooms (we had a king size deluxe room) with everything needed for our stay. We had a kettle delivered to our room, which was great * Wonderful origami and added art deco fixtures, fittings and decoration. it really adds to the look and feel. * Great unexpected additions such as the free walking tours, wine hour night (although we didn’t use it) and the welcoming morning grab and go breakfast. I highly recommend the sausage and egg roll as it had a touch of spice. very tasty. * Lovely friendly staff, everyone was very helpful and accommodating. Leonela is a brilliant hotel manager and is an asset to the Triumph Group.

this was our 10th trip to NYC, we have stayed in the Times Square area or Williamsburg and we wanted to be further down Manhattan for another outlook. We were in for a treat at the Evelyn, the location was perfect! Less touristy than Times Square so the options we were real New Yorkers go, the hotel itself is Art Deco style and dates from around that time. We had a room on the 11th floor and had partial view of 27th and 5th. The area around the hotel is really nice, we often walked into Maddison Square park and people watched. We had a shake shack one night under the festoon lights, which was pretty epic. The room was nicely decorated, clean and had a bay window, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice. Really happy with our time at the Evelyn and would return for definite

We really liked this location. It was close to a nice park and subway stops. We walked back from Times Square a few times, definately a hike but doable. Take advantage of the free walking tour - it was really great. I wish we would have done the others offered by the sister hotels! I was happy with the breakfast sandwich which was one of the options included using your breakfast voucher. The bed was super comfortable and the staff was friendly. Each day as we were walking out, we stopped at the front desk and asked for a couple bottles of water, which they provided at no cost. Nice touch! Also a bonus to have the workshop bakery immediately to the left when you walk out of the hotel.

The location is ideal for New York. Everything is close. Madison Square Park is just on the parallel of the Hotel. Breakfast to go is fine and especially concerning New York is great plus. The buidling of the hotel is historical and if you want an hotel with more charme than average hotel that is the place you would appreciate. The NoMad neighbourhood is a great place for bars restaurants and shopping.

Lucio

Really well located to walk to lots of the main sights (Flat Iron, High Line, Central Station, etc) and walking distance to the subway too. Rooms were really nicely decorated, with a good size bathroom and a wardrobe. Staff were really friendly. Free breakfast was actually pretty good and really useful when you're up early with jetlag.
